72hr session at Orchard place farm fishing in paddock wood lake 7 the first week of February and had 52 fish all double figures. I had 39 Cats and 13 carp. My biggest Cat fish which was my PB was 38Lb and then several more in the 20’s and the rest of an average of 16Lb and my biggest Carp which matched my PB was 24Lb then the rest were between 10-21 Lb.

Fishing a Sussex Day ticket water Furnace Brook, I managed this lovley 2lb 2oz Perch caught with a maggot feeder with a Lob Worm hook bait in the margin, fed regulary with a scattering of maggots to keep the rudd happy and in the area.

Due to my local rivers being unfishable still I decided a trip to a farm lake that I know was going to be my plan of attack. A dead bait smelt on the float very soon produced my first fish of the day at 15lb 12oz followed very shortly with another at 9lb 8oz. Not a bad session
